What you will do☝

We are seeking a Logistics Planner  to join our team. You will report directly to the Line Haul Manager UK. You will coordinate Paack's line-haul and pick-up network. Your main duties will include:

• Building and coordinating line-haul and pick-up networks (Retailers to Paack, Intra-Paack depots)

• Finding the most efficient ways to serve multiple cities in the UK from Paack’s major hubs

• Establishing deep relations with our line-haul partners as well as onboarding new ones

• Ensuring compliance with the company policies and understanding legal requirements

• Managing line-haul and pick up P&L through effective planning and reporting

• Planning contingencies in case of vehicle breakdowns or network delays

• Ensuring timely and precise planning of load schedules, making sure that carrier utilisation is maximised, and service levels are met

• Engaging with all approved carriers and vendors in relation to Shipments, ensuring timely provision of system updates with event and milestone information

• Liaising with Retailers to provide detailed and accurate shipment information as and when required

• Escalation of issues to appropriate parties, including Supervisory Management, Customer Managers and 3rd party providers

What we look for 🕵️‍♂️

• Previous experience in Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain

• Sound analytical skills and good knowledge of UK logistics

• TMS knowledge

• Ability to work under pressure and autonomously in a rapidly evolving environment

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills

• Highly motivated and results-oriented person

• Excellent negotiation skills

• High English level in both oral and written skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally
